How do I prepare for a Wax ?Complete your consent form before your wax appointment.
Come to your appointment with clean skin.
Exfoliate every 2-3 days and moisturize daily leading up to your appointment (especially the night before)
Avoid caffeine
Take a pain reliever beforehand (if needed)
For your comfort, wear loose fitting clothing to your appointment.
Please reschedule if you are feeling sick!
What type of wax do you use ?I use a mix of hard and soft wax.
All product I use are hypoallergenic and safe for all areas.
Will it hurt ?Yes & No
Everyone has a different pain tolerance.
Clients usually tell me it wasn't as bad as they expected.
Waxing is fast & It’ll be over before you know it!
Can I wax on my period ?Yes!
You must wear a clean tampon or cup for me to service you during your period. I have fresh tampons and wipes available in the studio for your comfort and convenience.
Be mindful that you may be slightly more sensitive to pain during menstruation.
We understand that periods can be unpredictable. To accommodate this, clients may cancel or reschedule appointment due to their period up to two (2) times without any additional charge.
Any additional cancellations or reschedules for this reason will incur a $25 missed service fee
If your cycle is irregular, please book when you're sure you'll be able to attend your appointment.
How long should my hair be ?For best results, hair should be approximately the length of a sprinkle before your waxing appointment.
If the hair is too short, results may be less effective.
If your hair is very long, please do not trim before your appointment.
If you recently shaved, please allow 2–3 weeks of hair growth before booking a waxing service.
What do I do after my Wax?Keep the area clean and dry for 24 hours.
For the first 24 hours Avoid:
Swimming pools, oceans, & lakes
Hot tubs & saunas
Direct sun exposure and tanning beds
Sweating/workouts
Sexual activity
Tight clothing
Scented products
Touching the area
Avoid shaving the area
Moisturize gently after 24 hours.
Begin exfoliating on day 3 after your appointment to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Exfoliate 2–3 times weekly for the best results.
How do I prevent Ingrowns?Preventing ingrown hairs starts with a consistent skincare routine!
Exfoliate the area 2–3 times per week beginning on day 3 after your wax to remove dead skin cells and help new hair grow properly.
Moisturize daily with a gentle, fragrance free lotion or body oil to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.
Avoid picking or squeezing ingrown hairs, as this can lead to irritation or scarring.
Remember: Your aftercare is just as important as your wax! Following these simple steps will help keep your skin smoother, reduce ingrown hairs, and extend your waxing results.
