How do I prepare for a Wax ?Please come to your appointment with clean skin. Exfoliate every 2-3 days and moisturize daily leading up to your appointment (especially the night before)
Avoid caffeine
Hair needs to be at least 1/4 inch long which is typically 2-3 weeks of growth to get started with waxing.
For your comfort, wear loose fitting clothing to your appointment.
What type of wax do you use ?I use a mix of hard and soft wax.
All product I use is hypoallergenic and safe for all areas.
Will it hurt ?Yes & No
Everyone has a different pain tolerance.
Clients usually tell me it wasn't as bad as they expected.
Waxing is fast & It’ll be over before you know it!
Can I wax on my period ?Yes!!
You must wear a clean tampon or cup for me to service you during your period. I have fresh tampons and wipes available in the treatment room for your comfort and convenience.
Be mindful that you may be slightly more sensitive to pain during menstruation.
How long should my hair be ?For best results, hair should be approximately the length of a sprinkle before your waxing appointment.
If the hair is too short, results may be less effective
If your hair is very long, please do not trim before your appointment
If you recently shaved, please allow 2–3 weeks of hair growth before booking a waxing service
What do I do after ?Keep your skin clean and dry by following these 3 rules for the next 24 hours.
No swimming, sweating or sex!
Do not resume exfoliating until the 3rd day after your wax.
How do I prevent Ingrowns?Exfoliate 2-3 times a week and moisturize daily.
Your aftercare is just as important as your wax!
After care is available in the treatment room for purchase.
